This Master license allows you to operate as Captain on an inspected vessel that is authorized to carry more than 6 passengers for hire. You may also work as captain of an uninspected (6-pack) boat carrying up to 6 passengers plus crew.
The USCG does NOT require that you first get a Six-Pack License, so you can skip the Six-Pack and go straight to your Masters! There are two additional online endorsements that can be added to your license.
